Better value for (high) price with universal apps

Glad to see the universal app without further IAP/costs, but I still have concern about the lack of integration between the (at least equally expensive) Omni apps and how many expensive upgrades will be between now and then.
For now, as this is my first version purchased, I am satisfied with the value. However, if the next paid version comes before some significant catch-up in capabilities (Dropbox, inter-Omni-app sharing, etc) Ill be reluctant to stay.
